Homelessness Ministry

Is God Calling You to ministry with those who are experiencing homelessness? Are you seeking to discern and join in with God’s work in your community? This course is designed to equip and support you through a combination of:

•  Podcasts
•  Reflections
•  Practical tasks
•  Group conversations

Over nine structured sessions, designed to be completed monthly, you’ll explore key foundational topics relevant to volunteering alongside people experiencing homelessness, such as from trauma, addiction, deep listening and relational psychology. 

There will be input from experts working in homelessness services and people leading the way theological reflection on homelessness. Most importantly, there will be substantial input from experts-by-experience, i.e. people who’ve experienced homelessness themselves.
